Privacy Policy

Introduction

Your privacy matters to me. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain terms, what personal data I may receive when you use this website, contact me or book a session, why I use it and how I handle it.

The data controller is Sheila Hernández (CVR no. 46800621). If you have any questions about your personal data, you can contact me at info@sheilahernandez.net or on +45 57 77 50 51.

What information I may receive

Depending on how you contact me, I may receive your name, email address, phone number and the content of any message you choose to write in the contact form.

To book appointments online, you need to provide your name, email address and phone number.

During the therapeutic process, I may process the information necessary to provide the service. Before a professional relationship has been established, please avoid sending medical information, diagnoses or other particularly sensitive data through the free-text field of the contact form.

How I use your information

I use personal data only when necessary to handle enquiries, bookings, session-related communication, the provision of services and compliance with applicable legal or administrative obligations.

I do not use my clients’ data to send newsletters, advertising or direct marketing communications. I do not sell, rent or disclose personal data for commercial purposes.

Session notes

During treatment, I may take professional notes on paper. These notes are kept while treatment is ongoing and, once it has ended, are securely destroyed by shredding, subject to any legal requirements that may apply.

Online sessions are not recorded.

Contact forms and enquiries

Messages sent through the contact form are received at info@sheilahernandez.net. Enquiries from people who do not go on to become clients are deleted after 7 days, once they are no longer needed.

Email and phone details are used to manage appointments and to communicate with you about your care. They are not used to send newsletters or advertising.

Bookings and invoicing

The website allows you to book appointments online. The booking system asks for your name, email address and phone number. Appointment confirmations are sent manually by email.

Invoices or receipts are prepared manually and provided on paper. A copy is kept to meet tax and accounting obligations for the legally required period.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may have certain rights over the personal data I process, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection, where applicable.

To exercise your rights or ask about your data, please contact me at info@sheilahernandez.net. I will respond in accordance with the requirements and time limits set by applicable law.

Confidentiality

The therapeutic relationship is built on trust and confidentiality. The content of sessions and the information you share during the process will be handled with care and in confidence, within the applicable legal framework.
